Founded in 2010, Isuroon is a women-led organization empowering Somali women in Minnesota. We provide access to health, financial literacy, civic engagement, and leadership programs. Through partnerships, we offer culturally competent training and research to improve outcomes and reduce disparities. Our mission is to support Somali women in overcoming barriers, navigating healthcare systems, and advocating for their well-being.
The name Isuroon signifies a woman who prioritizes self-care. With the courage of Somali women and the resources we provide, families in Minnesota can:

- Successfully navigate a complex and unfamiliar healthcare system
- Advocate for their own physical, social, and financial well-being
